Science
At Gordon Primary School, Science encourages students to explore and make sense of the world through inquiry, investigation and evidence-based thinking. Our program is aligned with the Australian Curriculum and develops students' understanding across the strands of Science Understanding, Science as a Human Endeavour and Science Inquiry. Students investigate concepts in the biological, chemical, Earth and space, and physical sciences through hands-on learning experiences that promote curiosity, questioning and problem-solving. By planning investigations, collecting and analysing data, and communicating their findings, students develop the scientific knowledge and skills needed to understand and engage with the world around them.
