Our Friendship Hub at Gordon Primary School is the physical centre of our wellbeing practice.
It is where our designated wellbeing staff are located within the school.
These staff members provide support to students and class teachers through the use of Restorative Practices.
Students are aware that the Friendship Hub is a place they can come if they are experiencing any issues or problems. Anything from needing some fruit for fruit break or a sandwich if you have no lunch, to friendship issues or just needing a quiet space to collect their thoughts.
It is open for play at lunch and recess times and is resourced with games and toys for the children to use.
The Friendship Hub is also a great resource for parents as a place to seek extra support for their children.
