Read! Read! Read!
At Gordon Primary School, we have a love of reading! We love to see children lost in the world of books and other forms of reading. Do you read at home with your child? Do you want to know how you can encourage your child to read? Check out the "Encourage Your Child To Read" document. The "Parents Guide to Independent and Successful Readers" may also assist you in supporting your child in reading.
Personalised Parent Reading Workshops
Specialist teachers at Gordon Primary School are now offering parents the opportunity to learn more about supporting their child's reading. Our Reading Recovery teacher, Fiona D'Elboux and our Literacy & Numeracy Field Officer, Sue Gorman will be available Friday afternoons for a 30-minute session between 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM, by appointment.
Please contact the front office on 62055955 to request an appointment.
